So Dessay has announced, in a tricky way as usual, that she will take on the role of Mélisande in Debussy's Pelléas et Mélisande in a new production directed by who else but Laurent Pelly (conducted by Bertrand De Billy featuring Stéphane Degout as Pelléas) scheduled to premiere in Vienna on January 13, 2009.
