The pandemic amongst opera singers is indeed worldwide. After recent cancellations by JDF (Kansas City & Chicago), Dmitri Hvorostovsky (London), Anna Netrebko (London) and Andreas Scholl (also London), Angela Gheorghiu has canceled her upcoming recital in Paris (Salle Pleyel). Tickets will be reimbursed, as no alternative date could be found.
